According to CCPIA Monthly Bulletin of Statistics of China Agrochemicals, transaction price of glyphosate technical significantly increased by $890 per tonne in March. Seen from the above chart, market of glyphosate during the past year has been though a downward trend till this March.

According to experience, in March, demand from North America starts to increase, which always brings up domestic glyphosate price. Insiders consider that in the long run, market demand has been increasing. With Monsanto’s new seed products launching into market, area of GM crops will be driven up, especially in Brazil, which will trigger a new trend of glyphosate demand increasing.
