According to CCPIA Monthly Bulletin of Statistics of China Pesticides, Volume Weighted Average Price of Glyphosate TC declined by $209 per tonne. It seems that the upward tendency in August was only a short-lived phenomenon. The downward trend kept going on and the price of last month even reached the lowest point during the past 21 months.

Seem from production and sales, in September, with two more manufacturers operating, output of glyphosate increased by 4.6% MoM, while sales volume declined by 8.8%. The expected increasing exports didn’t appear. According to CCPIA, the annual event, AgroChemEx will be held in Shanghai, China in October. Such event will bring up the order quantity and is estimated to be a turning point of the market.
