According to the statistics of the General Administration of Customs, the accumulative import & export volume in H1 2015 was USD 2.53 billion, down 10.2% YOY, and trade surplus was USD 1.64billion, down 14.5%.

According to the statistics of the General Administration of Customs, China imported 52,000 tons of pesticides in H1 2015, up1.0% year on year, and the import volume was USD450 million, down 0.9% over the year. Among the pesticides, the import quantity of insecticides was 6,000 tons, down 6.5% year on year, and the import volume was USD90 million, a sharp decrease of 19.2% over the year; the import quantity of fungicide was 16,000 tons, a sharp decrease of 9.9% over the year, and the import volume was USD180 million, down 4.6%; the import quantity of herbicides was 16,000 tons, a small decrease of 8.2% over the year, and the import amount was US110 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.0%.

In H1 2015, China exported a total of 691,000 tons of pesticides, down 3.3% year on year, and the export volume was USD2.08 billion, a sharp decrease of 11.9% over the year. Among the pesticides, the export quantity and amount of fungicides maintained a growth of 9.4% and 10.4% respectively; the export quantity of insecticides was11,400 tons, down 7.4% from last year, and the export amount was USD460 million, a sharp decrease of 14%; the export quantity of herbicides was 510,000 tons, up 4.9% from last year, and the export volume was USD1.34 billion, a sharp decrease of 15.1% from last year.
