Shandong Luba Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 50% paraquat SG has received the production license from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently. As early as in 2012, Shandong Luba Chemical had already received the pesticide registration approval for 50% paraquat SG from the Ministry of Agriculture. As of now, the “three licenses” for this product are complete. Trial of the production system has been finished and the production of 50% paraquat SG has already been started at the end of April. The products has been launched into the market successively.

　　Prior to this, Nanjing Red Sun Biochemistry Co., Ltd. received the production approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for its 20% paraquat GW to replace paraquat AS for the first time in August, 2014. As of now, all alternatives for paraquat AS have been qualified for production. According to the website of the State Intellectual Property Office of the PRC, besides paraquat SG and paraquat GW, the patents of paraquat water soluble paste, paraquat WT, paraquat WG and other forms of formulations have already been applied by relevant companies.
