The list of Top 100 China Pesticide Enterprises (By sales) in 2016 was officially released by CCPIA. Nanjing Redsun Co., Ltd. ranks first by sales of 3.545 billion yuan (about 541 million dollars). Zhejiang Wynca Chemical and Beijing Nutrichem rank second and third respectively with 3.398 billion yuan (about 518.6 million dollars) and 3.333 billion yuan (about 508.6 million dollars).

Compared with the year of 2015, the whole sales of top 100 China pesticide enterprises in 2015 decreased slightly. The total sales have reached 103.839 billion yuan (15.84 billion dollars), an increase of 2.35% on a year-on-year basis; the threshold for being a shortlist in the list decline from 324 million yuan (49.45 million dollars) to 320 million (48.84million dollars), a decrease of 1.24% compared with last year.

It can be seen from the data in 2015 that agrochemical companies polarized in development, due to industry downturn, depressing glyphosate prices, weak paraquat policies, company restructuring, etc. The number of companies with a sales revenue of over one billion yuan increased by four compared to that in the previous year, while the companies with a sales revenue of over 500 million yuan decreased by ten. The top 10 names changed significantly. Sinochem Crop, Jiangsu Huifeng and Shandong Binnong made the top 10 list.
