According to the statistics of the General Administration of Customs of PRC, the total import & export volume in Jan.2016 reached USD 379 milion, drop by 17.1% year-on-year; trade surplus was USD 254 million, down 10.7% YoY.

The insecticide import total volume reached a total of 2,000 tons, an sharp increase of 101.8% YoY, and imports amounted to 14 million US dollars, up by 9.0% YoY; the fungicide imports volume reached 3,000 tons, up 21.9% YoY, while imports value amounted to 23million US dollars, down 34.6 YoY; the herbicide imports volume reached 2,000 tons, up 37.3% YoY, while imports value amounted to 16 million US dollars, drop 39.4 YoY. In Jan. 2016, the pesticide export total volume reached 112,000 tons, a decrease of 2.0% YoY, and the export value reached 317million US dollars, a sharp decrease of 14.7%. Whilethe fungicide export volume and value keep growth, respectively up by 18.7% and 0.5%; the insecticide export volume was 20,000 tons, up 6.9% YoY, export value was 73 million US dollars, down 3.8%; the herbicide export volume was 79,000 tons, up 5.7% YoY, export value was 193 million US dollars; drop 21.3% YoY.
