Many regulations have been carried out in the worldwide, which restrict the application of chemical pesticide and increase the consumers’ awareness of pesticide residue, significantly enhancing the demand of seed treatment. The seed treatment is featured with less consumption and better effect, saving labors, time, seeds and pesticide. It is much safer than spraying on the field because it meets the requirements of the times that prevention first, green control, integrated control and environment protection. Compared with the continued rebuts trend of GM seeds prices, the seed treatment enjoys low cost and better economic benefit, which has improved the development of the seed treatment industry.

In 2015, our seed treatment sale has reached 2.86 billion Yuan, up 16.7% compared with 2014. It is expected to reach 3.5 billion Yuan in 2016 and exceed 5 billion Yuan in 2019. In terms of the crops, the proportion of the seed treatment applied to wheat, maize and cotton is 38%, 32% and 16% respectively. In addition, the proportion of the seed treatment applied to rice, soybean and peanut is 5%, 4% and 4% respectively.
