The integration of corn seed business between China National Seed Group and Monsanto in China has made a breakthrough. The newly founded China Seed International Seed Co. Ltd will be fully responsible for the R&D, production and sale of Monsanto’s corn seed business in China. Which international seed giant initially put scientific research assets into joint venture, showing its intent to promote genetically modified crops.

    The structure of China’s seed industry changes in recent two or three years, leading to a distinctive differentiation between varieties and seed enterprises.
